AEG-Electrolux unveils new washing machine for kitchens

Homeowners can reduce the cost of running their kitchens with the help of a new washing machine from AEG-Electrolux.
The LAVAMAT L84950A3 product has a load sensor that detects the weight of the clothes to be washed and recommends the right amount of detergent to use.
Its SuperEco setting is 30 per cent more energy-efficient than a standard A-rated washing machine and cleans without having to heat the water.
There are 20 other wash settings to choose from, including prewash, stain, wool plus, daily/super quick and sensitive.
The LAVAMAT L84950A3 can hold up to 8 kg of clothing and features a memory programme, an LCD display, an interior light, low noise levels and an inclined panel enabling easy access.
AEG-Electrolux's other kitchen appliances include cookers, ovens and dishwashers.
Its B98205M multifunction steam oven and F99000MP ProClean dishwasher were featured in a list of the top 50 home appliances compiled by the Independent earlier this year.
